Stripes& Cognac...

H&M Shorts~F21(old) top~Gojane heels~Thrifted belt~Burlington Purse

Happy Sunday!! This was my Saturday look. The weather has been a bit cold but I wanted to wear these shorts because I've been working so hard at the gym and noticed my legs are looking soo much better. I can even see a bit of muscle tone and I couldn't be happier. For me my legs and butt are the hardest part to tone and finally I see some improvement, I'm not 100% there yet but it's great to see some change. Well with that said I went ahead and wore my shorts and paired it with my famous most favorite cognac accessories of this summer, and now that fall is here I'm on a hunt to find the perfect cognac boots to go with these accessories for fall. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures.

I know some of you guys have asked me what's my workout regimen and I wanted to soon put together a post on my exercise routine. But for now I will let you know a little bit of what I do to get in shape. My diet is consist of low carbohydrates high protein, and I workout at least 4-5times a week for 2 1/2 hours. Yes I know that's a long time but it really takes me that long to get every thing I want to do. I know others might workout and get the same or better results in less time but that's the time it takes me.

example of  my diet..
Breakfast can be 3 scramble eggs with 1-2 slices of cheese or I would have 3 hard boiled eggs

lunch is a huge salad with chicken or I would have bake chicken and veggies

for a snack before working out I would have low sodium turkey rolls with celery
or an apple with peanut butter

and for dinner I would have grilled chicken breast with veggies again

I know the diet is kinda boring but you have to have a lot of discipline and motivation and just do it. If you want results right?

As far as my workout routine..
I focus on 1 hour of cardio. Yes however you can get it in 30mins in the beginning 30mins at the end or 1hour before weights or 1 hours after weights but yes 1hour.. then I go over to the weight area and target either upper body exercises or lower body. Mondays and Weds I do upper body meaning triceps biceps shoulders and chest, and I do about 3 workouts for every body part, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays  I do legs and butt and I try to do a total of 7 workouts like lunges, squats etc. I also use resistance bands to do lunges and squats and arm exercises too. I go to the gym mostly Mon-Thurs religiously on Fridays I don't go at all it's my off day always been and since I wake up so early everyday for work and I don't get a lot of sleep I try to sleep in on Saturday and Sunday so I try to go on Saturday afternoon and do a full body workout and 30mins of cardio only. I hope this information helps. If you guys have any other questions please let me know I'm here to answer  anything. I will soon post a workout regimen and the foods I eat.

xoxo,

Looking great Jeimy!!

That was similar to my workout before I had my little one. I would stay after work up to 4 days out of the week and I would be in the gym for 2 hours going for it and I loved the results of it. However, these days I don't really have the option to go after work I have a little one to get, homework, cook, be in bed by 9pm up by 5am etc... But I do get in 45min or more 3 times a work. I do workouts that incorporate cardio and weight training all in 1. I'm trying to make it 4 days(gotta get this weight off again) but I gotta be realistic with my time. On weekends if I'm not baking for my business I'm getting my hair done early every other Saturday morning and then church on Sunday! But I think I might add in a quick workout Sunday late afternoon when I am not watching football (yes I love my football) :-)

It really takes dedication, but it can be fun especially if you make it fun!! The eating can be fun too. I've learned to branch out and try new foods from different cultures. Alot of foods from different cultures are healthier than alot of American cuisine. I still only eat chicken, seafood, turkey meat or no meat 99.9% of the time, but I have fun coming up with ways to make them taste good and still be healthy!!
