Yesterday I received my Glamour August issue and flipping thru the pages I came across an article that talked about turning the big "30" it hit home right away. I must say I was one of those girls that thought turning 30 was gonna be it for me , that I was old that I wasn't ever gonna find the one yada yada yada etc.. it hit me hard last year and I was just not happy about it at all, Even though I kept saying 30 and fabulous 30 and fabulous I knew in my heart that's not how I felt.. but for some reason in May when I turned "31" I looked back at my 30 and fabulous year and I must say 30 is great but 31 is even better. when I turned 31 I found myself and the person that I am right now is the person I want to be for the rest of my life if not better. I look back at my struggles the ups, the downs, and most importantly I look at my daughter who is 15years old going on her Second year of high school and every where we go they ask us if we're sisters and it feels great. I love being a mom , I found the love of my life last year which for me took 30years but it was well worth it and I can finally say I'm happy!! I know now that I wouldn't want to be any other age below 30 ever!!

Now you KNOW you should have had Stacey Dash up there for the 40s! She looks waaay younger than J.Lo lol but I ssoo feel you on the turning 30-31. As long as people still give me the shocked look when I tell them I'm 30 I know I still got it lol and you SSSOOO STILL GOT IT!!
I am still glad I have along way to go and I think Kim Kardaishin looks a lot older!

I really enjoyed reading this post. I turn 28 in a few months and I will definitly say that your 20s are about finding yourself. There's been a lot of ups and downs like you said, but I look forward to growing. Made me feel like I have something to look forward to so thank you!

I felt that way when I turned 25 and I'm sure I'll feel that way at 30, but it's great to know that all of our fears aren't true. But I think most girls go through that! Lovely pics for 30 and fabulous women!
